Not Receiving Alerts?

If alerts or reminders aren’t reaching you, it’s almost always one of a handful of settings. Work down this checklist — each point rules out a common cause.

Shows: the Alerts Inbox alongside a rule’s status and schedule — the settings to verify when notifications don’t arrive.

Checklist

  1. Is the rule Active? Open Alerts > Rules and confirm the rule is enabled, and that its schedule (Always / Business Hours / Outside Business Hours / Custom) matches the current time.
  2. Is the vehicle assigned? Check the vehicle is in the rule’s assignments (the right vehicle or group).
  3. Are you a recipient? Confirm you’re listed as a recipient on the channel you’re watching — In-App, Push, Email or SMS.
  4. Quiet Hours? Non-critical notifications are suppressed during Quiet Hours — check they aren’t silencing this alert.
  5. Email/SMS provider configured? Email (SMTP) and SMS delivery may need your own provider set up; without it those channels stay silent.
  6. Your notification preferences. In Settings > Notifications, confirm the alert’s category is turned on for your chosen channel.
  7. Sensor present? For sensor-based alerts, confirm the required sensor is fitted and reporting on the vehicle.

If a rule needs adjusting, set it up under Alerts > Rules > Create rule: pick a template (or Start from scratch), adjust the condition, choose the vehicles/groups, set a schedule and the notification channels, then Save. When it triggers, the alert appears in the Alerts Inbox and notifications go out.

Frequently asked questions

My sensor-based alert never fires — why?

Sensor-based alerts (panic button, fuel, temperature, seatbelt, door, AC, driver ID, camera) need the matching hardware fitted and reporting. If the sensor isn’t present or isn’t sending data, the alert has nothing to trigger on.

The alert shows in the Inbox but I got no push/email.

That means the rule fired correctly but the delivery channel is the problem — check Quiet Hours, your Settings > Notifications preferences, and whether the Email/SMS provider is configured.
