Refuel Alert

A refuel alert notifies you when a sharp rise in fuel level shows a vehicle has been refuelled, which is useful to reconcile fuel spend against receipts.

How to set it up

1. Go to Alerts > Rules and click Create rule.
2. Pick the matching template, or choose Start from scratch.
3. Adjust the condition — a refuelling event, detected as a sharp fuel-level rise.
4. Choose which vehicles or groups the rule applies to.
5. Set a schedule — Always / Business Hours / Outside Business Hours / Custom.
6. Choose the notification channels — In-App / Push / Email / SMS.
7. Click Save. When it triggers, the alert appears in the Alerts Inbox and notifications go out.

• Vehicles & groups — the vehicles the rule watches.
• Schedule — Always, Business Hours, Outside Business Hours, or Custom.
• Notifications — In-App, Push, Email, SMS.
• Behaviour settings — fine-tune the rule to cut down on noise.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a fuel-level sensor?

Yes. A refuel alert reads fuel level from a fuel-level sensor on the vehicle. Without that sensor there is no fuel curve for the rule to watch.
