Off-Site Stoppage Alert
An Off-Site Stoppage alert flags a vehicle that has stopped at a location that isn't one of your approved sites or POIs — an unplanned detour, a personal errand, or an unauthorised halt. You build it as a rule that combines a stoppage condition with an 'outside your zones' condition.

How to set it up
- Go to Alerts > Rules and click Create rule.
- Pick a matching stoppage template (or choose Start from scratch).
- Adjust the condition — combine a stoppage trigger with outside your approved zones/POIs.
- Choose which vehicles or groups the rule applies to.
- Set a schedule — Always, Business Hours, Outside Business Hours or Custom.
- Pick the notification channels — In-App, Push, Email or SMS.
- Click Save. When the rule triggers, the alert lands in the Alerts Inbox and notifications go out.

Frequently asked questions
How do I stop it firing for short traffic stops?
Use the rule's behaviour settings to require a minimum stop duration before it triggers, so a brief halt at a light or in traffic won't count as an off-site stoppage.
