Service Due Alert
The Service Due alert warns you when a vehicle reaches a maintenance milestone — by default when engine hours pass 500 hrs, but you can base it on odometer or a date instead. It is an escalation alert: if no one acts on it, it escalates to a wider audience over time so a due service never slips through.

Frequently asked questions
What does “escalation” mean here?
If the alert isn’t actioned, it escalates to a wider audience over time — so a service that’s due keeps surfacing until someone handles it, rather than being dismissed once.
Can I track the service itself, not just the alert?
Yes — log and manage the work in the Services module. The alert tells you a service is due; Services is where you record that it was done.
