Fleet Not Appearing on Dashboard
If a vehicle is missing from the dashboard, it's usually because its subscription has expired or it's set to 'inactive'. Check both under Settings → Vehicles.
MapView - Unable to View All Vehicles
If no vehicles show in MapView, the vehicle list is probably minimised — click 'Expand left pane' to bring it back.
Delayed Update on Dashboard
A 'Delayed Update' status usually means the vehicle's GPS device can't reach the network — poor GPRS/mobile coverage, underground parking, or a power/SIM issue. It clears once the device regains signa
Incorrect Track or history
An incorrect route in track history usually means the GPS device logged poor location data — from weak GPRS/network coverage while the vehicle moved through a low-signal area.
Invalid Vehicle Speed in the Report
An impossibly high speed in a report (e.g. 200 km/h) comes from GPS speed error in low-signal areas. Check the satellite count in the vehicle raw-data report — under 5 satellites means the speed is in
Inaccurate Fuel Readings
Inaccurate fuel readings usually come from the fuel sensor — faulty wiring, debris in the tank, the vehicle parked on a slope, or a bad reading from the device.
Invalid Fuel Drain Alert
Frequent fuel-drain alerts with no real fuel loss happen when normal fuel sloshing while moving crosses the drain threshold (5% by default). Raise the threshold to stop the false alerts.
Incorrect Time in Platform
If the time shown doesn't match real time, the vehicle's time zone is set incorrectly. Set the correct time zone under Settings → Vehicles → Edit.
Driver Name Missing or Unauthorised
If a vehicle shows 'Unauthorised Driver' or no driver name, Driver Identification is on but no valid iButton is assigned to that driver. Assign one under Settings → Vehicles → Driver Identification.
Driver Identification Retain Policy
If historical reports show your current driver's name instead of who actually drove, set the Driver Identification Retain Policy — it controls whether a driver's name resets or carries forward across
Tow Alerts Generated
A tow alert on a stationary vehicle fires when it moves over 100 m at 15 km/h with the ignition off — which can happen in a workshop. It's the tow rule working as configured.
Spot Geo-Fence Alert Not Triggered
If only the first of two nearby spot-fence alerts fires, the POIs are overlapping — only the POI the vehicle touches first triggers. Edit the POI perimeters so they don't overlap.
Inaccurate Temperature Reading for Reefer Truck
Inaccurate reefer temperature readings almost always trace back to sensor installation — placement near a heat or cool source, wiring, or the device type. Correct installation is the fix.
Limited Access to Features
If you can't see the alerts tab or other features, your administrator has restricted your role. Check Settings → User Roles & Privileges, or ask your administrator for access.
Restricted Account Access
A 'Your account has time restrictions' message at login means you're signing in outside your permitted work hours. Try during your shift, or ask your administrator to adjust it.
Invalid Account Activation Link
An 'Invalid Link' when activating your account means the invitation link has expired. Ask your fleet manager or administrator to resend it.
Error Importing Fleet Service Log
If a fleet service-log import fails with '0 records processed', a field in the file doesn't match the expected format. Download the error log to see exactly which field caused it.
