SecurePath and Asateel: what UAE fleets must install
Commercial vehicles in the UAE must carry certified tracking. Dubai enforces this through SecurePath, run by SIRA in coordination with the RTA; Abu Dhabi through Asateel, run by the Integrated Transport Centre. Both gate on an approved device — and neither gives you fleet management. AVLView is the operations layer that runs alongside your certified tracker.
SecurePath — Dubai
Operated by SIRA with the RTA. Certified tracking is mandatory across commercial classes: school buses, taxis and limousines, rental vehicles, public transport, and heavy vehicles from 2.5 tonnes. Non-compliance risks fines, black points, impoundment and licence suspension.
Asateel — Abu Dhabi
Operated by the Integrated Transport Centre. Permits for freight, passenger buses and school buses are issued only for vehicles with an approved, functioning tracking device already installed — no tracker, no permit.

Which vehicles need certified tracking?
