Set a Vehicle Speed Limit

Set the speed limit used for a vehicle (or a zone) so that speeding is measured against it. This value feeds the Speeding alert and your speeding reports.

How to set a speed limit

1. Open the vehicle's settings.
2. Find the speed-limit field.
3. Enter the limit you want speeding measured against.
4. Save. The Speeding alert and reports now use this value.

What you can set

• Vehicle speed limit — a fixed limit that applies to the vehicle.
• Zone speed limit — a limit that applies within a defined zone.
• Adaptive speeding — instead of a fixed number, measure against the road's posted limit. See the Speeding alert help for how adaptive mode works.
