Out-of-Hours Detection
Out-of-hours detection flags vehicle activity that happens outside your defined business hours. It is the basis for After-Hours alerts and out-of-hours columns in reports.

How out-of-hours activity is determined
Out-of-hours detection depends on the business hours you define in Settings > Business Schedule. Once those hours are set, AVLView compares each vehicle's activity against them: anything that falls outside your business hours is flagged as out-of-hours.
Where out-of-hours activity appears
- After-Hours alerts — notify you when a vehicle is active outside business hours.
- Out-of-hours report columns — highlight activity that occurred outside business hours in your reports.

What do I need to set up first?
You must define your business hours in Settings > Business Schedule. Out-of-hours detection cannot flag activity until those hours exist.
