Unplanned Stoppage
The Unplanned Stoppage report filters out every routine, expected stop and shows only the ones worth looking at — vehicles halted at unrecognised locations for longer than a set threshold. By cutting the noise of normal depot and delivery stops, it points fleet managers straight at the stoppages that may signal a problem.

What the report shows
Each run isolates the anomalous stops and totals their impact:

- Vehicles Affected — how many vehicles had at least one unplanned stop.
- Total Stop Time — the combined duration of all unplanned stops.
- Longest Stop — the single longest unplanned stoppage in the period.
- Needs Attention — the stops flagged as most in need of follow-up.

Frequently asked questions
What makes a stop “unplanned”?
A stop counts as unplanned when it happens away from a recognised location — such as a saved depot, customer site or point of interest — and lasts longer than the threshold you set, so expected stops are excluded automatically.
Can I change the threshold and known locations?
Yes. The stop-time threshold and the list of recognised locations, or points of interest, are configurable, letting you tune how sensitive the report is to your operation.
