The Driver Safety & Performance report ranks every driver in your fleet by their efficiency and safety metrics, giving managers an objective basis for coaching, recognition and accountability.

What the report shows
Each row is a driver, scored and ranked so the whole fleet can be compared at a glance:
- Total Drivers — how many drivers are included in the ranking for your chosen period.
- Avg Safety Score — the fleet-wide average safety score, your benchmark for individual performance.
- Top Performer — the highest-scoring driver, ready for recognition.
- Speeding Events — total speeding events feeding into the scores, showing a key risk behaviour.
- Harsh Events — harsh braking, acceleration and cornering events, another core safety signal.
- Improving — the number of drivers whose scores are trending upward, so coaching wins are visible.
How to run it
- Open Reports and choose the Driver Safety category (or search “driver safety”).
- Select Driver Safety & Performance.
- Set the date range you want.
- Click View to see it on screen, or Download for a PDF or Excel copy.
Schedule it
Use the Scheduled tab to email the ranking to managers on a regular cadence — a monthly run gives every driver a consistent scorecard and keeps coaching on track.
Frequently asked questions
How is the safety score calculated?
The score combines risk behaviours such as speeding events and harsh braking, acceleration and cornering into a single comparable figure per driver.
How do I use the “Improving” count?
It shows how many drivers are trending upward, so you can celebrate progress and confirm that coaching is working before scores plateau.
