The Equipment Usage report shows how hard your specialised equipment is working and flags machines that are approaching maintenance. It is built for mixed fleets of powered plant and attachments where utilisation and servicing both matter.

What the report shows

For each machine and across the fleet, the report summarises usage and upcoming service needs:

  • Equipment Items — the number of monitored machines included in the report.
  • Total Usage — the combined run time logged across the equipment for the period.
  • Avg Utilisation — the average share of available time each machine was actually in use.
  • Maintenance Due — the number of machines that have reached or passed their service interval.

How to run it

  1. Open Reports and choose the Sensors & Add-ons category (or search “equipment”).
  2. Select Equipment Usage.
  3. Set the date range you want.
  4. Click View to see it on screen, or Download for a PDF or Excel copy.

Schedule it

Use the Scheduled tab to email the Equipment Usage report on a regular cycle, so operations and maintenance planners always have current utilisation and service figures.

Frequently asked questions

What add-on does this report need?

Each machine needs an AVLView device with a usage or ignition/run-hours input wired in, so active run time can be measured. Machines without this input will not report usage.

How is “Maintenance Due” decided?

A machine is flagged when its logged run hours reach the service interval set for it, so you can plan servicing before a breakdown.
