Compliance & Liability Exposure

The Compliance & Liability Exposure report is a risk-management dashboard that scores your fleet's legal and financial exposure in one place — pulling together driver compliance, vehicle roadworthiness and safety behaviour. It is built for fleet and compliance managers who need an at-a-glance read on where the fleet is exposed and what to fix first.

What the report shows

The dashboard grades the whole fleet with a health score and then breaks the risk down into the issues driving it:

  • Fleet Compliance Score — a single health score summarising how compliant the fleet is overall.
  • Critical Issues — the count of red-level problems that need immediate action.
  • Amber Issues — the count of warning-level items to address before they escalate.
  • Licences Expiring — driver licences due to expire, so renewals happen before they lapse.
  • Inspections Overdue — vehicle inspections that have passed their due date.
  • Estimated Exposure — an estimate of the financial exposure the open issues represent.

How to run it

  1. Open Reports and choose the Compliance & Geofencing category (or search “compliance”).
  2. Select Compliance & Liability Exposure.
  3. Set the date range you want.
  4. Click View to see it on screen, or Download for a PDF or Excel copy.

Schedule it

Open the Scheduled tab to have the dashboard emailed to you automatically — a weekly or monthly run keeps managers and directors briefed on the fleet's risk position without logging in.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between critical and amber issues?

Critical issues are red-level problems that need immediate action, such as a lapsed licence or a badly overdue inspection. Amber issues are warning-level items you should address before they escalate into critical ones.

How is estimated exposure calculated?

Estimated exposure is an indicative figure of the financial risk represented by the open compliance issues, giving you a sense of the cost of leaving them unresolved. Treat it as a guide for prioritising, not an exact liability.
