Reports Overview
AVLView turns your fleet's GPS and sensor data into ready-made reports across six areas — operations, driver safety, fuel & cost, compliance, fleet intelligence, and sensors. This guide shows you how to find, run, schedule, and manage them.

The report catalog
Open Reports to see the full catalog. Reports are grouped into six categories:
- Operations — day-to-day activity: Vehicle Timeline, Fleet Activity, Trip – Ignition/Stoppage, Live Fleet Status, First Movement, Unplanned Stoppage, and the End of Day Fleet Summary.
- Driver Safety — Speeding, Driver Safety & Performance, Driver Hours & Shift Compliance, and Driver Cost & Liability.
- Fuel & Cost — Fleet Cost Per Kilometre, Idle Time Ranking, Fuel Anomaly & Theft Detection, and the Fleet P&L Summary.
- Compliance & Geofencing — POI Visit, Geofence Breach, and Compliance & Liability Exposure.
- Fleet Intelligence — Fleet ROI & Utilisation Score, Maintenance Cost vs Vehicle Age, and the Asset Performance Scorecard.
- Sensors & Add-ons — Temperature Overview, Temperature Exceptions, Cold Chain Certificate, Crane Usage, Equipment Usage, and Security Events.
Use the search box to find a report by name, or star the ones you run often so they stay at the top.
Run a report
- Open a report from the catalog.
- Choose the vehicles or groups and set the date range.
- Click View to see it on screen, or Download for a PDF or Excel copy.
Schedule reports
Use the Scheduled tab to have any report emailed automatically — daily, weekly, or monthly — so it lands in the right inboxes without anyone running it. This replaces the old “offline reports by email”.
Downloads and charts
Every report you export is kept in the Downloads tab, so you can re-open a past PDF or Excel without re-running it. The Charts tab visualises report data as trends and comparisons for a quicker read.
Report policies
Report policies let admins set organisation-wide defaults — which reports each team can see, default schedules, and how long report data is kept — so reporting stays consistent across your account.
