MapView - Unable to View All Vehicles

If some or all of your vehicles don’t show in MapView, it’s almost always one of a few things — the vehicle list being hidden, a filter that’s narrowing the view, limited access on your user account, or a device that hasn’t reported recently. Work through the causes below.

Cause and fix

The vehicle list is minimised

The most common cause: the left vehicle pane is collapsed. Click “Expand left pane” to bring the list back.

A group or search filter is active

If the list is expanded but only shows some vehicles, a group or search filter may be applied. Clear the filter or switch to All vehicles / All groups to see the full fleet.

Your account has limited access

Sub-users can be restricted to specific vehicles or groups. If you expect to see vehicles you don’t, ask your administrator to widen your access — see set user privileges.

The vehicle hasn’t reported recently

A device that is powered off or out of network coverage may not plot until it sends fresh data. If a specific vehicle is missing, check whether it’s reporting on the dashboard first.
